Few houses offer as many possibilities for activities and fun as Villa Iris. In our Villa you can find everything you are looking for. We have a wide range of sports, activities and other services, such as Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Ping Pong, Badminton, Yoga Classes, Sauna, Billiard and Table Games. All sports and activities, with the exception of the yoga class and the sauna, are free, but unfortunately due to the large number of broken rackets and lost balls, we cannot offer you all the accessories for free. We hope you understand this. Below you can find all services, activities and accessories with their respective prices, as well as those which are free. Come to Villa Iris and get in shape!
Tennis Rackets
Why don’t we have tennis rackets? Tennis rackets go through too many hands and are always returned broken. For this reason there are no more tennis rackets.
Tennis Balls
Why don’t we have tennis balls? As those of us who play, are not Rafa Nadal, nor any other professional tennis player, tennis balls are thrown many times out of the court and it is impossible to recover them, especially if they fall into the hedges.
Volleyball
The volleyball is offered free of charge and will be charged in case of not returning it or not returning it in the same condition.
Basketball
The Basketball ball is offered free of charge and will be charged in case of not returning it or not returning it in the same condition.
Ping Pong Rackets
We offer you ping pong rackets and balls for free and we ask you kindly to return them in perfect condition.
Badminton Rackets
We offer you for free a set of badminton rackets and balls and we ask you kindly to return them in perfect condition.
Woodstove Sauna
The spa with Arab bath with heated pool, waterfall, panoramic sauna with meditation music is a closed facility and a package, that must be booked separately. Our staff will come to light the fire in the sauna, prepare you 3 types of water with different aromas, green tea with fresh mint and we provide you with bathrobes. A person practices aromatherapy inside the sauna using ice that is placed on the stones of the sauna with exotic aromas. Then the sauna master distributes the smell through a towel or large fan throughout the sauna.
Yoga Classes
Our yoga classes will take place on the tennis court on the artificial grass. The surface is very comfortable for this kind of activity. These classes will be led by a professional freelance in spanish or english and cost 15 euros per person. We require a minimum of 5 participants. The price for groups from 16 up to 20 persons is 12 euros per person. You have to book the class a few days in advance according to the teacher’s availability. The class will be payed directly to the teacher.
Billiard
We offer a billiard table with its accessories for free. The table is on the top floor of the house. Please return all accessories in perfect condition and don’t hit the table. Other customers will appreciate it.
Table Games
You can find table games on the top floor at the bottom of the brown cupboard. Please think that other customers also want to use the games. Store all dices, cards, and other pieces in their respective boxes after playing.
Wifi
Villa Iris offers free wifi. The router is located in the living room next to the fireplace. The password can be found behind the router, where it says “clave”. Customers who come in winter are reminded to not unplug the router on the ground floor, or to unplug the wifi amplifier located on the top floor in a socket. The heating works with wifi and in case of disconnecting the wifi the heating does not work any more.
Firewood
We order every year half a ton of firewood and we store it next to the house under cover. Once the firewood is finished, which is usually around April, we don’t place one new order of firewood. The closest firewood establishment is about 1 km from the house, very close to the campsite “Vilanova Park”. For customers who have requested the sauna, we will leave adequate firewood inside the sauna.
Carbon for Barbecue
In Villa Iris there is a large wood-burning barbecue, but it can also be used with carbon. We do not supply any carbon.
Spices
In the Villa there is usually a great offer of spices that previous clients have left. We do not throw them away, so you do not have to buy everything again, but we can not tell you what spices there are, since the stock changes after each check out.
