¡Taste our select wines and cavas of the area!
Villa Iris is located in a wine region and only wines and “cavas” (catalán sparkling wine famous in all the world) which come from the area have been chosen. We have a wide range of white, red and rosé wines from our neighbors of the Penedés region, as well as from other areas nearby, such as Conca de Barberà, Tarragona and Montsant. We have carefully chosen wines and cavas for all tastes and pockets of 4 different regions nearby Villa Iris. Our cavas come from Penedés and we offer you white and rosé cava. Apart from wines and cavas we also have beer, water and soft drinks at a reasonable price.
How does it work?
At check in a delivery note with the amount and respective prices of drinks will be given and a deposit of 150 euros must be paid. At check out, we count all consumed drinks and we will refund the difference, or the difference will have to be paid in our favor. The prices of wines and cavas range between 4.60 euros, 5.50 euros, 7.50 euros, 8.50 euros, 11.50 and 12.50 euros, water and soft drinks at around 1.50 euros . During lunch and dinner we serve only our drinks. Drinks consumed during meals must be paid the same day together with the meal.

D.O. Penedés
An appellation of origin that meets the ideal conditions for the elaboration of a wide variety of quality of wines, belonging from Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada and Chardonnay grapes, and Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in red wine varieties. A landscape marked by calcareous land, hills, forests and above all, Mediterranean climate. In this region you can find vineyards from 500 meters above see, creating several microclimates. All these conditions make Penedés Apellation wine being singular and valued around the world.
D.O. Tarragona
Good conditions for growing graps made since the Roman Empire paid attention to this area for winemaking. Mediterranean weather, calcareous soils and low rainfall for the production of soft and aromatic white wines, fresh rose and bodied red wines.
D.O. Conca de Barbara
Poblet Abbey, the order of Templar Knights and modernist cellars designed by Gaudi’s disciples are the wine roots from this region which bets firmly for local varieties, mainly Macabeo, Parellada and Trepat. Varietes which are present in almost all entire range of wines eleborated in Conca de Barberà Appellation. Ground in this area are dominated by limestone and clay with a light texture and with the characteristic reddish color that give a wine it’s own special character.
D.O. Montsant
Montsant range has been the witness of the wine greatness of this region. History, landscape and their inhabitants go in one way along the centuries Land is rich in minerals. We can distinguish calcareous sedimentary, granite, sand erosion and stony slate. Excellent red wines are the most commons in this Appellation where hightlight the historic varieties from the region as Grenache and Carignan.
